SUPPORT NYCfNAC'S WORK TO
PROMOTE
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY!
The New York City Financial
Network Action Consortium (NYCfNAC) is a not-for-profit organization,
which was established to promote an equal economic playing field for
all persons. In the United States, most citizens take opening a savings
and checking account for granted. At work, they can contribute automatically
to retirement or investment accounts. Building financial assets allows
families to buy a home, start a business, send their children to college,
or fix their car when it breaks down. But for most low-income Americans,
it is not that simple. In fact, it is nearly impossible to save for
even the most basic needs, much less larger goals. Those opportunities
are not easily available if your only option is hiding money under
the mattress. NYCfNAC believes in equal opportunity and equal access
for all Americans. Our work in reaching out to the unbanked and strengthening
community-based credit unions, which are owned and governed by their
members, is an innovative approach to promoting simple economic justice.
Please help support out efforts, or if you prefer, support the institutions
that we serve who depend upon grant income to pay for their financial
counseling and asset-building programs. We appreciate any size donation,
whether it is $10 or $500. Please join our cause by making a contribution
today. You can contribute by clicking the Network for Good
